Nasi Kuning Komplit…..hmm lekker

Perkedel Kentang and Telur Dadar Suwir

Perkedel Kentang

Ingredients;
– 500 gr potatoes, cubed, deep fried and mashed
– 150 gr minced meat/chicken
– 3 shallots sliced, deep fried
– 2 garlic sliced, deep fried
– bunch celery chopped
– 2 eggs
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp pepper
– 1/2 tsp nutmeg
– oil for deep frying

– mixed all ingredients together except 1 egg
– shape in a form of a little ball
– whisk the remaining 1 egg
– roll the perkedel in the egg mixture
– fry until golden brown

Ayam Bumbu Rujak and Serundeng Kelapa

Urap ala Bali

Urap ala Bali

– 100 gr taoge
– 100 gr green beans, cut
– 100 gr cabbage, thinly shredded
– 150 gr coconut grilled on the stove until its a little bit brown and fragrant, grated
– 1 cm lesser galangal chopped
– 3 lime leaves chopped
– 1 big red chili sliced
– 2 bird eye’s chili (as desired)
– 3 shallots sliced
– 2 garlic sliced
– 1 kaffir lime

– boil grean beans
– blanched taoge and cabbage
– fry chili, shallots and garlic until slightly brown
– mix the mixture with lesser galangal, lime leaves and grated coconut
– when you are ready to serve the urap mix the spices coconut mixture with the vegetables
– squeezed a little bit of kaffir lime

Ayam Goreng Ungkep and Sambal Terasi

Sambal Terasi

– 1 big red chili
– 3 bird eye’s chili
– 1/2 tsp terasi
– 1/2 tomato
– 3 shallots
– 2 garlic
– salt

– fry all ingredients except salt
– crush all fried ingredients and salt nicely until smooth in an old fashioned indonesian cobek (mortar and pestle)

Please people don’t get bored if the pictures are always like this….habis ga punya banyak bento box sih…..sigh…yang penting kan niatnya toh πŸ˜‰

Today’s bento; mie goreng, boiled green bean, fried egg, krupuk.a

Snack box; apple, mandarine orange, kinder pingui, cookies.

Bento #6 Bihun Goreng


For my readers (if there are any πŸ˜› ) Sorry if lately my post is just about bento…kikiki

Got a new bento set that I bought on ebay!!!!!!! Yippie….but why they are a bit small for big bule :P…Naah its ok I can use other box for the snack.

Today’s bento; bihun goreng (fried rice noodle), boiled eggs, lettuce leaves, rolled ham, shredded chicken, emping. As for the snack box; mandarine orange, heart candies, cupcake, biscuit and white choco cuppies.

Bento #5 Ham and Peas Fried Rice and Perkedel Jagung

Today’s bento; ham and peas fried rice and perkedel jagung dicetak pake cetakan cookie….tapi rada2 gosong :'( karena ditinggal chatting kekeke

Here I post the perkedel jagung recipe from my own imagination kekeke (berusaha nginget2 resep ibu dirumah seh)
– 2 corn cob/1 can corn
– 1 shallot slices
– 1 garlic slices
– 1 egg
– 1 spring onion
– salt
– pepper

– Crushed the corn with food processer.
– Add all ingredients and mix nicely.
– Fry until golden brown.

Then on the snackie box; mandarine orange, bun with cream cheese and choco sprinkle filling, mini donut and mini white chocolate cup.A

Bento #3 Sandwich


Actually wanted to make rice balls. BUT of course it’s not me if there’s nothing wrong. The rice was too dry to make any shape :'( So ganti jurusan….buat sandwich aja. The filling was ham and cheese. Then there were; chicken nugget (again!! emang kekurangan ide apa ga punya bahan πŸ˜› ) Then another bowl of diced salami with shredded cheese (kalo yang ini beneran mengarang bebas hehehe), strawberries, some salad leaves and rolled ham. Then for the snack box; mandarine orange, biscuit, plum, candies and choco bar. Kesannya kok banyak bener ye…Tapi kan ini bukan buat anak-anak. Buat Meneer Belanda yang jelas-jelas orangnya gede pastinya makannya lebih banyak daripada orang Indonesia… Hehehe peace honey πŸ˜€

Pizza


Ini pizza jadi-jadian hehehe. Because I was too lazy to make my own pizza dough :p So I bought pre-made pizza base at the supermarket which was quite cheap πŸ™‚ Then for the topping I added; tomato sauce, champignon mushrooms, salami, paprika, onion and shredded Gouda cheese. Bake it in the oven at 220 Celcius for 15 minutes. Lekker!!!!

Bento #2 Nasi Goreng

Found some funny punchers in Blokker…Yuhuu then I could make some nori accessories :D:D

My second attempt at making bento. This time it’s nasi goreng with “cow’s eye egg” aka telor mata sapi, chicken nugget, tomatoes. And for snack box; ready made cupcake but I put some icing and streusel on it πŸ™‚ raisin biscuit, plum, Japanese rice crackers that Peter got from his friend in Japan and some ting ting jahe.

Down side, I hate night time, there’s no good natural lighting. Lighting with the lamps arent bad bad!!! (read: I’m just an amateur not a pro πŸ˜› ) So sorry people enjoy this yellowish picture. Any suggestions on how using lamps as lighting are more than welcome πŸ™‚

My first Bento


Looking at those bento mothers made for their children made me wanted to make the them as well. But I got no children…then what am I gonna do?? sobs….then eh I got no children but I got someone who goes to office everyday…hihihi…..so here we are…Thank you schatie for being my loyal food guinea pig :p

The mie goreng was leftover from mie ayam for dinner without the broth of course. Then I made a heart omelette and rolled omelette with salad leaves. The heart shape was from a heart cookie cutter. Stupid me of course forgot to put some oil onto the cookie cutter so I had some trouble getting the omelette out of the cutter :p

As for the snack box I had; 1 plum, 2 butter cookies, 3 candies (people here adult or children love these kind of soft candies) and 1 piece of cake.

Pasta Aglio Olio e Peperocino


For 2 persons
Ingredients:

– 200gr thin pasta i.e spaghetti

– 5 cloves garlic mashed
– 1/2 dried red chili (or more depending on your taste buds)

– 5 tbs olive oil (or more depending on your taste buds πŸ™‚ )

– Salt
– Pepper
– Grated Parmesan
– Fresh or dried basil or Italian mixed spices

– Boil pasta according to direction until al dente, keep warm.
– Heat up olive oil in a pan add chili and garlic.
– Fry until garlic is fragrant and golden brown.
– Add pasta stir thoroughly.
– Sprinkle salt, pepper, basil.
– Serve with grated Parmesan.

Tomato Mozzarella Salad


Ingredients:
– 1 Package fresh mozzarella
– 2 Tomatoes
– Basil leaves
– Olive oil
– Salt
– Pepper

How to make:
– Slice tomato and mozzarella
– Arrange them nicely in a plate
– Sprinkle salt and pepper
– Drizzle olive oil
– Garnish with basil leaves
